Family and relationship difficulties
Arguments, resentment, jealousy, lack of trust, emotional distance, recurring conflict, or the difficult decision of whether to stay together.
Psychological counselor · couples counselor · Gestalt approach
Individual and couples counseling for relationship difficulties, separation and grief, self-doubt, loneliness, apathy, and times when you need a new sense of direction.
What you can bring to counseling
You can come with one specific situation or with the sense that the way you have been living or relating no longer works for you.
Arguments, resentment, jealousy, lack of trust, emotional distance, recurring conflict, or the difficult decision of whether to stay together.
The end of a relationship, the death of someone close, emptiness, difficulty letting go, and fear of starting again.
Harsh self-criticism, guilt, dependence on other people’s approval, difficulty setting boundaries, and fear of expressing your needs.
Feeling misunderstood, fear of intimacy, repeated disappointment, or feeling alone even when other people are present.
Low energy, loss of interest, living on autopilot, and the feeling that nothing is changing.
Losing your sense of direction, moving into a new stage of life, facing a difficult choice, or trying to understand what you want next.
I help you connect your feelings, thoughts and actions, so it becomes clearer what keeps you in the same pattern.
We clarify what is happening now, what affects you most, what you want, and where you feel stuck.
We look at why conversations end in the same way, why familiar feelings return, and what keeps the cycle going.
This may mean speaking more directly, setting boundaries, tolerating difficult emotions, or making your own decisions.
We pay attention not only to insight, but to what changes in your relationships, choices, and experience of yourself.
I work within Gestalt and integrative approaches. If your needs fall outside my scope of practice or require medical support, I will tell you directly.
Formats and fees
A one-time consultation can help with a specific situation. When a difficulty keeps returning and needs deeper work, individual therapy begins with a package of at least five sessions.
For recurring conflict, self-doubt, grief, loneliness, apathy, and patterns that continue to affect different areas of your life.
For one specific question, a difficult decision, or an acute situation. We will clarify what is happening and identify a practical next step.
For partners dealing with recurring conflict, distance, jealousy, broken trust, or a difficult decision about the future of the relationship.
About me
I am a psychological counselor, Gestalt therapist and couples counselor. I work with adults, teenagers and couples online and in person in Moscow.
In sessions, I listen closely, ask questions and share observations. My aim is not only to understand where a difficulty comes from, but also to see what can change now — in your conversations, boundaries, decisions and relationship with yourself.
At the beginning, we agree on what you would like to understand and how we will recognize that the work is helping.
Professional training
I make my training documents available because it is important to know what professional preparation a counselor has completed and which areas they continue to develop.

Your first session
A simple message is enough: “Hello, I would like to book a consultation.” You do not need to explain your whole story in advance.
We will clarify who the session is for, whether it is individual or couples work, online or in person, and agree on an available time.
During the session, you can describe what is happening. I will ask questions and we will identify a clear next step.
A one-time consultation does not commit you to ongoing therapy. You can first decide whether my way of working feels right for you.
Before booking
These are the questions people most often ask before an individual, couples, or teenage consultation.
You can come with family or relationship difficulties, separation, divorce or grief, self-doubt, loneliness, apathy, dissatisfaction with life, or a loss of direction. You may have one specific situation in mind, or simply notice that the same difficulty keeps returning.
No. You can begin with ordinary words such as “I feel overwhelmed,” “I am confused,” “we keep arguing,” or “I do not know what I want.” During the first session, we will clarify what matters most right now.
A one-time consultation is designed for one specific situation, decision or acute period. Individual therapy is more appropriate when a difficulty keeps returning, affects several areas of life, or reflects a long-standing way of relating to yourself and others.
One session can clarify a situation, but a recurring pattern usually needs more time. Five sessions allow us to understand how the problem works, begin trying different responses, and assess whether further work would be useful.
Both partners take part. We first clarify what each person would like to change, then look at specific interactions and how the familiar conflict develops. The aim is not to decide who is at fault, but to help both people hear each other and understand what options are available next.
You can begin individually. Even without your partner taking part, you can work with your own feelings, boundaries, responses and decisions. A change in one person can sometimes shift the familiar dynamic in the relationship.
At the beginning, we clarify what is troubling the teenager and agree on a clear format for the sessions. It is important that the teenager has space to speak about emotions, relationships and difficulties without pressure. Practical questions may also be discussed with a parent.
This depends on the teenager’s age and the specific situation. Before the work begins, Sofia discusses the parent’s role, practical arrangements and confidentiality with both the teenager and their legal representative.
The content and length of the session are the same. For online work, you need a private place where you will not be overheard or interrupted, as well as a stable connection. You can choose the format that makes regular attendance easiest for you.
Yes. The content of sessions is not shared with relatives, partners or other people. Possible exceptions involving an immediate threat to life or safety, or legal requirements, are discussed separately.
Sofia explains the free cancellation and rescheduling terms before the booking is confirmed, so the arrangements are clear in advance. The exact cancellation window will be added to the final version of the website.
I do not act as the primary professional for severe psychiatric conditions. If it becomes clear that medical care or a different type of specialist is needed, I will say so directly and recommend a more appropriate form of support.
Write: “Hello Sofia, I would like to book a consultation.” I will clarify the format and offer an available time. You do not need to explain your entire story or find the perfect words first.
Before booking, please review the Privacy and Personal Data Policy, Personal Data Consent, and Public Offer. Consent is confirmed separately when booking.
